Erica Goldson surprised her school administrators when she gave a speech critical of public education at her graduation ceremony. Quoting both H.L. Mencken, and John T. Gatto, her speech took us by surprise, and we had to interview her. Erica Goldson’s criticisms don’t stop with public education. In this interview she discusses her distrust of government, corporations, war, and authoritarianism. Does she represent a movement among young people? Here it is, the pilot episode of The Breadless Circus. It’s far too long, missing hosts, and marked by shoddy audio. This pilot was more about testing our chemistry since it was the first time that Daniel and myself had spoken. Fortunately, all went well.
